Will is 5 months old!!!

Happy 4th of July! Will loved the firework show that his dad, Uncle Andrew, Uncle Chad, and soon to be Uncle Pete put on for us, but he didn't quite make it to doing sparklers.

Sweet little family!

We haven't put him on baby food yet, but he decided he didn't want to wait any longer and he took his daddy's cookie and stuck it in his mouth! :-)

Will loves to sit up, though he isn't quite ready to do it on his own.

He has learned that his feet are quite enjoyable to play with and suck on.

Will loves when Aunt Marianne comes to visit and is looking forward to when she gets to move back to Utah and play with him all the time

This was the first time Will was able to see both set of great-grandparents on his mom's side together. What a treasure of a picture to have.

Yea!!!!!!! Uncle Andrew is finally home!!! Will loves when he is around. Andrew is always able to get Will to smile and laugh.

This was at the airport waiting for Uncle Andrew to come off the plane. He loves to cuddle with his daddy and suck on his fingers.

Just a Quick Post

Will has discovered that he doesn't need a "binky" after all.

Will just loves his Mommy!

Grandpa Lane came for a quick visit last week. (And boy is Grandma Lane jealous)

Will just started holding his head up when he's on his tummy. He hated being on his tummy on the floor, but now he just loves it.

Can life get any better . . . I submit that it cannot!

More Pictures.......Finally! :-)

Will and I have started taking walks in the afternoon which he loves to do! Because of the heat, we make sure he has plenty of sun screen on and wears a hat.

On Tuesday Jody and I took Will outside to feed the ducks that live around our apartment complex. He loved watching them come up to us to eat.

Great Grandma and Grandpa Mecham gave this to Will and he is finally about to play with it. He wasn't quite sure what to think about his Jump-A-Roo, but he loves being in it now. I think he feels all grown-up because he can stand up in it all by himself! :-)

Will and Mom on our first Mother's Day! It was weird to think that I qualified to share in the honors of Mother's Day, but I love being a Mom and feel so blessed to be able to stay home with him each day.

Will loves to clenche his fists.

This was the first time Will and Dad went with out Mom. They had a wonderful time bonding while looking for a present for Mother's day.

Our cute little boy who loves to sit up on his own.

Will loves to play on the floor with Mom and Dad and his toys.

Though Will is starting to become a little independent he still loves to cuddle up with Dad and Mom, which we love!

Will loves to suck on his fingers, just like his mom did.

William is Getting So Big!

William is getting so big! It's hard to believe that he'll be 6 weeks old on Tuesday. We love our little boy and enjoy watching him grow each and every day.

This is Will's first experience of watching conference. As you can see he is really enjoying this experience, especially being cuddle by Daddy!

Will has a bit of curl in his hair. We think he gets it from both his grandpas.

If you look at Will's thigh you can see a bandage. He had his one month check-up and got a shot while we were there. When he got the shot he only cried for a second and then was good to go. He now weighs 9.13 lbs. He's sure growing! :-)

Will loves his swing, and so does Mom! :-) In the evens when I am getting dinner ready I'll put him in the swing and he'll watch me make dinner. Though this picture doesn't show it, Will is becoming so more alert and curious about the things going on around him.

Almost 4! (Weeks that is)

Will is now almost 4 weeks old!

He had his second check-up and had to have his little heel pricked so the doctor could take some blood samples. He is growing like a weed and at his check-up he had gained a full pound since he was born (he actually had gained 2 pounds since his last check-up, because he had lost about a pound in the days after he was born).

Here are some more pics of Will.
Will is a full-time Clear Image Promotional Products employee . . . look at his blue hands from pad printing so many stress balls for Mom & Dad. Just Kidding, Mom & Grandma Mecham wanted to get prints of his hands and feet. The ink didn't fully come off for over a week!

Will just loves taking baths. He gets really upset at the beginning, but once he's in, he's in heaven.

Yes, those are socks on his hands. Little William has HUGE hands and the little baby gloves we bought for him didn't fit, so we use socks to keep him from scratching his cute little face.

Will and Dad doing what they both love best . . . taking a nap!

Will and Mom. Finally in our own bed after 2 WHOLE MONTHS!

More Pics

Here are a few more pictures of little William.

Michelle and Will came home on Wednesday and have been doing great. Michelle is recovering well and is moving around a lot more.

Will had his first doctors visit today because Will's biliruben levels (a measurement of jaundice) were a little above normal at the hospital. His pediatrician said he looks perfect, and we definitely agree!

(And, no, William isn't always crying, those pictures with his mouth open are his cute little yawns.)
