Happy Holiday Season!

A couple weeks ago Will and I went with some friends to visit a farm close by.
He loved seeing the animals and running around.

We were excited to get our tree up this year.  Will got right in helping his daddy put the tree together.

And he loved putting ornaments on the tree.  In fact I'm still finding him taking ornaments off so he can put them back on. :-)

"And the stockings were hung with care...."  I've had a hard time finding stockings that I loved and that I was willing to spend money on (because they can get really expensive), so I decided to try making some.  We went to a fabric store one family night (before Thanksgiving) and spent some time trying to find fabric that we liked and that would match.  I was finally able to finish them the other night.  I'm pretty pleased with how they turned out.  Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season!

Catching Up :-)

It's been awhile, so here's what we've been doing......

Will loves to help in the kitchen.  One of his favorite things to do is make cookies.

We had the opportunity to visit Temple Square before it got too cold.  Will loved running around seeing all the lights.

Santa came to our ward Christmas party and Will wasn't too thrilled with Santa.  He didn't want to get close.  But as Santa was leaving, Will was more than willing to wave and say "Bye-Bye".

The many faces of Will

This is a project that I have wanted to do for a while now. Will makes the funniest faces. It doesn't matter if he is happy or sad, the faces he makes always make Michelle and I laugh. We took these photos in our living room with what seemed like dozens of lamps behind a white, queen-size flat sheet. They are a little grainy, but, of course as a serious photographer, I did that on purpose.

Enjoy.

Happy Halloween Everyone!

I wanted to do something fun for lunch, because this evening will be a little crazy with getting Will ready to go trick or treating.  We made pizza pumkins.  His favorite part was picking the cheese off the pizza as I was putting it on. :-)

This is the face Will makes now when we tell him to say "Cheese" for the camera.  Will really enjoyed eating the pizza

For family night we painted and carved pumpkins.  I think we have a little artist on our hands.

Marianne and Pete carved the one on the right, while we did the one on the left.  We had a great time!

Jody and Will decided to make peanut butter cookies the other night.  Will loved smashing the cookies with the fork.

The cookies turned out great!!!

Had to Share the News!!

My brother Andrew is engaged!!!    He asked Mary on Thursday and she said yes!!  We are so excited to have Mary apart of the family.  She fits right in and is so much fun to be around.  Once I can get a picture of the two of them I'll put it up.  The date for the wedding is January 16 2008! :-)

Fall Time

I love this time of year, though it means winter is just around the corner.  The past couple of days I've been shredding and chopping zucchini and chopping up peppers to freeze.  I did this last year and had veggies throughout the wintertime I didn't have to go buy.  It was a wonderful help on time and money.  Hope all is well!  We will be better at post now that we have the internet in our home.
